Ah death...The Saviour of us all The one that takes us away from the miseries of life There was no more pain All I saw was a bright white light Which engulfed me in its arms Oh it was so alluring!! It was, always, your presence; That welcomed me, each instance. Arriving at the homestead, Coming up the pathway; It was your shadow, greeting me; Letting me know, I was home. You're gone--went ahead, so to speak. Yet, your spirit hovers. It's the same entity, acknowledging me; Every time, I get to visit-- The smell, of candles, burning; A knowing aura, filling up the space; The sudden consciousness, Bidding me hello, affectionately. You--even after dedicating your life, To those, you cherish-- You're still here, with me. Yes, unseen and unheard--for now; Yet felt, with the heart. No, you never evanesced away. You evolved into an angel-- Engulfing me, with more love; Ensuring, that I'm alright. Death is never, really, an end. It's, simply, another plane of being. Oh death,could you Please stay away You wont get anything from this sculpture made of clay Your presence and proximity haunts me every second It seems as if everything around me is darkened Seeing you distant was my biggest mistake Can't you forgive this hypocrite for even God's sake Oh death,could you Please stay away As my deeds won't protect me on the doomsday I am a sinner,tempted by the devil Which is the reason why my soul got disheveled I always got deviated from the right path Thus,I won't be able to face my God's wrath Oh death,could you please stay away As my conscience is on the verge of decay I can't even imagine you,as I am not that brave Don't know how will be my first night in the grave Had I not been betrayed by my own dome Then I would have never forgotten about my ultimate home Oh death,could you please stay away Oh death,could you please stay away Death:The ultimate reality of life.
