It was, always, your presence; That welcomed me, each instance. Arriving at the homestead, Coming up the pathway; It was your shadow, greeting me; Letting me know, I was home. You're gone--went ahead, so to speak. Yet, your spirit hovers. It's the same entity, acknowledging me; Every time, I get to visit-- The smell, of candles, burning; A knowing aura, filling up the space; The sudden consciousness, Bidding me hello, affectionately. You--even after dedicating your life, To those, you cherish-- You're still here, with me. Yes, unseen and unheard--for now; Yet felt, with the heart. No, you never evanesced away. You evolved into an angel-- Engulfing me, with more love; Ensuring, that I'm alright. Death is never, really, an end. It's, simply, another plane of being. The ones, who went ahead, are here with us, yet--giving evidence to the fact, that there is life, after death. Thank you for inviting me to the challenge, Nikita Goyal and Nila. I chose to show "life after death"; thereby, reiterating the point, that a journey continues, even after we leave this place, called "life". I, further, nominate Krishnanunni Kichu, Durga Kannan, Barsha Kumar, and everyone reading this post. I shall also try to tag more, via comments. Please do a write-up on the topic #journeyafterdeath. It's requested to use the aforementioned hashtag (#journeyafterdeath); so your post can be located, easily, by Nikita--who spearheaded this topic. Thank you! PS. Please feel free to nominate five more people, to keep the ball rolling. Thanks again! ❤❤❤
