For now I acknowledge the fact that she's mine She can't call me Dad yet but that's fine. People may think her joy is theirs to take But make no mistake, their necks are mine to break. I will teach her the vital lessons of life She will still be my baby at the age of twenty-five. At all times she will be in my prayers And when boys come around I'll turn on the sprinklers.
