Words unsaid, feelings unconfessed Years went by, love, still unrequitted. There were times where he wished to spill those magical beans, Times when those lil' moments with her in itself created magic. But time & again something held him back, It was nothing but fear, Fear of losing her once & forever. Besides she needed him to be her bestfriend then, Why spoil that for something which on her part was yet uncertain? So he waited, waited for things to happen rather than making them happen. Every minute & every second seemed infinity back then, Until the day he decided to finally break the silence. With an excitement level high as the sky, Legs shiverring, sweat trickling down his temple, he finally managed to say "Hi". Garnering all the confidence from every parallel universe that could possibly exist, He was finally about to say those three words, As she interrupted him mid - way saying, "Wait, let me introduce you to him, he's the one. My Mr. Right." With hopes shattered like that broken piece of mirror, He could sense his heart missing its beats. But he din't back off, and confessed his feelings.
