'There is the
utmost warmth
under the shade
of thy mother',
the day I realised this,
my past flashed
in front of my eyes,
the departure from home,
to live in the house,
the absence
of motherly love
from the whole life.
And, when this seed
returned to the garden,
the home,

his tree had fallen
to nothingness.

my mother
is this nature,

of those children

CHALLENGE- 9 Good Morning Writos. Here comes our ninth challenge of the game. COUPLET POEM A couplet is one stanza and consists of two lines. The last words in the lines rhyme. The lines should have the same length, but they can be of any length. A couplet poem consists of such couplets.

The heart hits the bell,
if late, it seems as the knell.

Getting scolding from teacher-cum-mother,
became an amusing thing further.

Bunking class with daft friends,
laughing happiness had no end.

By and by, years went by,
under the shade of the same joy-cum-cry.

Finally, the zenith was at its peak,
when only past's memories could speak. CHALLENGE- 9

a smile is all you need,
to shake off the shackles of loneliness awhile
to the plant of satisfaction, it's a seed.

Set your hearts free for once,
and, experience the magic around
you'll receive happiness in tons
and, your soul will be spellbound.

Spend a day with yourself
and with other's happiness,
you'll hear your innermost self
satisfied will be your thirst, which was once ravenous.

Say your words with joy
and, they'll become a panegyric,
the seeker will smile back; will become un-coy
the act will be great though not historic.

So, it's time to leave your agonies,
forget your worries
to remain happy, it's the easiest way.
