I remember the time when pa told me
"It's only me for you,who cares
The rest will only do what they think is fair".
The word hit me hard then and now.

Son- he is meant to shine like a sun.
Daughter- she is meant to slaughter.
Not a right choice of word, isn't it?

His dreams over a materialistic thing is a hype
'Man he wished for it and he did it'.
You twirl around and admire him for his achievements.
When she dreams you utter
Darling, dreams don't come true.
learn to adjust and accept 'the art of living'.

She dwells her dream
You exploit her with a scream.

Offended by the words i use
They speak up for it with voice aloud
'we never did so'.
A generation gap with 'words of equality'
Do they really mean it ,as in 'reality'
Ask yourself.
Would you step up and let your daughters bring a change or
change their mindset to adapt to the lives
they are meant to live since ages?

What was the mistake i wonder
Dreaming big or dreaming loud?
For you 'SHE' is not meant to reach the cloud.

I know it's high time
I should not speak up
I should not,
I end my rage bleeding blue in a paper white.
