Today My Alarm Went Off At 12:30PM by Mira Gonzalez
I stayed in bed for over an hour
looked at things on my phone
I felt slightly anxious about nothing particular
I walked downstairs and poured coffee into a jar
I asked a person on the internet if I should take drugs
I took drugs before the person had time to respond

Love in the Dark Country by #KapkaKassabova
Tomorrow for twenty-four hours
I’ll be in the same country as you.
The sky will be constantly shifting,
the morning will be green, a single morning
for my single bed. And in the night

#Shapes by #RuthStone
In the longer view it doesn’t matter.
However, it’s that having lived, it matters.
So that every death breaks you apart.
You find yourself weeping at the door
of your own kitchen, overwhelmed
by loss. And you find yourself weeping
as you pass the homeless person #Poetry

#Myth by #NatashaTrethewey
I was asleep while you were dying.
It’s as if you slipped through some rift, a hollow
I make between my slumber and my waking,
the Erebus I keep you in, still trying
not to let go. You’ll be dead again tomorrow,
but in dreams you live. So I try taking #Poetry

A Moment of Happiness by Rūmī
A moment of happiness,
you and I sitting on the verandah,
apparently two, but one in soul, you and I.
We feel the flowing water of life here,
you and I, with the garden’s beauty
and the birds singing. #Poetry#Rumi

For No Good Reason by #TwylaHansen
As if you needed one,
as if you could help it,
for no good reason
a tune out of nowhere
pops into your head
when you least expect,
riffs effortlessly in the #Poetry

To You by Frank O’Hara
What is more beautiful than night
and someone in your arms
that’s what we love about art
it seems to prefer us and stays
if the moon or a gasping candle
sheds a little light or even dark #Poetry#ToYou

Storm's over by Wayne Myers
The raging storm is over
the wind has ceased to moan
the rain has stopped
the penny's dropped
the air as still as stone
I spent a year crying #Poetry#StormIsOver#WayneMyers

The Poem I Didn’t Write by Raymond Carver
Here is the poem I was going to write
earlier, but didn’t
because I heard you stirring.
I was thinking again
about that first morning in Zurich.
How we woke up before sunrise.
Disoriented for a minute. But going #Poetry#ThePoemIDidntWrite
