अच्छा होता जो तुम मिलते ही नहीं
नदिया, झरने, पहाड़, बादल और फूल
इनको मैं वैसे ही देखता, जैसे ये हैं
हर खूबसूरत चीज में तुमको,
तुममें हर खूबसूरती दिखाई नहीं देती
हर मधुर ध्वनि में तुम्हारी आवाज सुनाई नहीं देती
मेरा हर प्रयास तुम्हारी ओर आने को
और तुम्हें अपनी ओर लाने का ना होता
ये बारिश तुम्हारी याद ना दिलाती
फूलों की खुशबू से ऐसा ना लगता
जैसे कि तुम आस-पास ही कहीं हो
शायद मैं ज्यादा वास्तविक रह पाता
जो जैसा है, उसको वैसा कह पाता
अपने मनोभाव को उजागर करने हेतु
