What I see you can't.. What I feel you won't . So don't compare.. Don't ask to compromise.. Many things are different But one common thing, We all get one life.. So you and I.. Let me live.. Let me love.. My life !! Good evening! Today I am going to talk about children who are different from the rest, yet unique in their own beautiful ways. You know them by the terms autism, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy and some others. Some of you might be parents to such children or know someone in your close circles. How difficult is it to raise them when they have already been labelled different? Maybe we appear to them as people with special needs. Maybe to them we are deviants from the normal. Raising kids like them is challenging and difficult, given the way society looks at them and at you, their parents. In this prompt, write through the eyes of these beautiful kids, what seems different to them and how. Because to them they are the normal:) P.S. It would really gladden my heart if I could see more participation from you all. Otherwise it makes me feel like a worthless parent, you know.:(
