My india, where one can get labour easily for anything and everything. That's a luxury to get an full time maid, car cleaner, gardener or loundry man on very low wages. Indians living in western countries can relate to it where they have to do these daily household by theirself. Not only the urban life is dependent on labours but the rural households & agriculture work are also need these workers for functioning properly. Agriculture and industries are responsible to run the country and lobours are the lowest level on this hierarchy are responsible for running everything smoothly without demanding much from governments, administrations and rich air-condition addicted owners. That is the reason the pandemic could not win the place on prime time discussion but the labours situation after lockdown. Why could the government not plan something better for them. Why the new labour law is served with sugar coating speeches but nothing seems in favour of labours. I don't hold any degree in economics or law but I feel disappointed and selfish sitting in my living room holding tv remote in my hand switching news channels from one to the other to watch something good for my eyes.
